Berner’s Patented Recuperative Loop Process

When the TRICOIL® is included with an enthalpy wheel system, the tonnage required is reduced by 2/3rds. This makes bringing in Outside Air even more energy efficient and affordable for both the purchaser and the end user.

Berner’s TRICOIL® utilizes a patented hydronic recuperative loop process, designed to provide load neutral conditions at a reduced tonnage, allowing for precise humidity control. The TRICOIL® also prevents over and undercooling while maximizing outdoor air requirements to maintain the proper IAQ. It is the only equipment that utilizes precooling and reheat, and is able to meet the demand of peak and part load conditions. When used in combination with a supplemental heat source, the TRICOIL® provides a cost effective control strategy.

In addition to providing humidity control and maintaining IAQ, the TRICOIL® is exceptionally versatile. Numerous available control strategies allow the product to be customized for specific applications for perfect performance. The TRICOIL® can be designed to work in conjunction with the main HVAC system; otherwise, it can operate as a standalone or a multi-zone system.

Our pre-assembled, TRIPAK pump and valve package, also allows the TRICOIL® to be retrofitted to an existing or new air handler. Retrofit offers enhanced IAQ and humidity control, while still optimizing the energy efficiency of standard air handlers.
